Clothing Swap!
Hello loyal listeners, readers, or just people who happened to come across this blog! We have big news!
We’re proud to announce the first ever WSUM Clothing Swap brought to you by I Hate Your Style. Here’s how it will work:
Dig through your closet, and find anything you don’t wear any more (and don’t try to claim you wear everything you have regularly, because I know it’s all lies). Whether it’s a shirt, necklace, pair of shoes, dress, seersucker trousers, or anything else wearable, we’ll take it as long as it is CLEAN and in good condition. If you wouldn’t give it to a friend, then don’t bring it in (we’d like to think we’re your friend anyways).
You can bring items in to the radio station any weeknight between 6 and midnight up until the date of the swap. The station is located at 333 E. Campus Mall on the 4th floor for those of you unfamiliar. Hand the clothes off to a traffic director, and they’ll take down your name and the number of things you brought in.
On Sunday April 11th, come back to the station any time between 2-6 PM for the swap! For each item you brought in, you can claim one item to take with you and make yours forever (or until the next clothing swap if you change your mind later). The swap is open to men and women, and we hope to get a wide variety of sizes and styles so everyone can go home happy! We don’t recommend bringing children’s clothes though.
You’re welcome to bring things in the day of the swap, but if you bring them in advance then we’ll have a good selection of stuff to start things off with. Plus, you never know if your name may be drawn for a top secret prize if you bring things in advance.
